I am now a PhD student at the Department of Empirical Inference, Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. My research interest lies in use of machine learning techniques to advance our understanding in real-world phenomena and various difficult problems, e.g., classification problems. The interesting research directions include:

• Kernel method and its applications
• Bayesian nonparametric models
• Learning in computer vision
• Semi-supervised learning
• Statistical learning theory
• etc.
